Anomalisa Fan Art

Have you seen Anomalisa yet? Go see Anomalisa. I love Charlie Kaufman and I love stop-motion animation, so this was double-love. I had to make some fan art of my favorite joke from the movie. Visit the Cincinnati Zoo. It's zoo-sized.

Chocodile Text Book Illustration

Here's another zine piece I made recently. The topic for this zine was Food as Animals (or Animals as Food ... either way). The Hostess Chocodile used to be my favorite snack cake before I was a vegan. I miss them. My idea for this illustration was "how would a zoology textbook would depict a Chocodile?"

Splatoon Zine: Blooper vs. Octorok

This is a piece I made for a Splatoon Zine put together by one of my coworkers. I didn't feel like drawing the traditional Splatoon character designs, so I decided to make a different Nintendo squid and octopus fight. If you don't know, that's Blooper from the Mario Bros. franchise on the left, and Octorok from the Zelda games on the right.

Greenlandic Blaque Casette Cover

My old band, Greenlandic Blaque, has a cassette coming out on Wiener Records. Here's some new album art I made for the cover.

Splatoon / MLB Mashup Shirt

I've been listening to a lot of baseball games and playing a lot of Splatoon recently. Thus, this exists.

All Grown Up

In case you didn't know, "Mickey Mouse has grown up a cow" is a lyric from the David Bowie song "Life On Mars?". I had the idea to draw this weeks ago when I was in a fever dream of working too many hours and listening to a LOT of David Bowie. I'm planning on making a painting of this soon too, but I had to figure it out digitally first.

The 4th Annual Degenerates Art Show

The 4th annual Degenerates art show is coming up! Here's a flyer for it. Go to it! It's me and a bunch of other Atlanta-based animators selling paintings and prints and stuff. Yeah!

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever

The last season of Aqua Teen Hunger Force is premiering this Sunday (6.21.15), so I had to do a quick illustration in honor of this momentous occasion. The last season is called "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Forever" and I am extremely proud to have worked on a few episodes of it this last year. I'm super proud of a lot of the animation work I've done, but there's something special about working on Aqua Teen. It's one of the few shows I've worked on that's been on TV long enough that I literally grew up watching it. Be sure to watch.

Smash Bros. Collaboration

Here's the finished piece for the Smash Bros. collaboration. It was made by myself and dozens of other Atlanta-based animators. My contributions were the right half of the stage and Sheik from Ocarina of Time (you can see Sheik by herself in a previous post). Seriously, way to go everyone involved. This turned out great.

The Awesomes: Season 3

I just started working on season 3 of The Awesomes. Many fun things to come. Now is a good time to catch up on the first two seasons. Hulu it.

Sheik

If you don't know your Legend of Zelda lore, this is Sheik. A mysterious character from the game "Ocarina of Time". I'm part of a collaborative Smash Bros piece and this is my contribution. I'll post the final image once it's all assembled.

Homer Simpson / Krusty the Clown / Radioactive Man

I remember hearing that Homer, Krusty, and Radioactive Man are all based on the same character design because it was supposed to be ironic that Bart didn't respect his father, but his two heroes were actually slight variations of his father. Homer is often quite clownish and he works at the nuclear power plant making him, quite literally, a radioactive man.

I plan on making an actual animated version of this eventually.

Seth and Lizzy Talk About Music

Have I ever mentioned my podcast here? I don't think I have. Well, it's called "Seth and Lizzy Talk About Music" or "SALTAM" for short. Every season our logo is a different album cover with mine and Lizzy's faces worked in somehow. This year was The Moldy Peaches self titled album.

If you like music, you should check it out. [itunes] [tumblr page]

New Painting

Here's a (terrible) photograph of my latest painting, "Solution (Solved in 20 Steps)". I made it for the Degenerates III show. It was a great turnout this year. Thanks to everyone who came out.

Squidbilles Stuff

It was a lot of fun working on this last season of Squidbillies. Here are a couple of remnants I had on my computer.

This was a little dance I animated for one of my favorite characters, Gaga Pee Pap (voiced by Jesco White). My boss, Dave, vined it during one of the review meetings.

And, look! It's me! I was in a few crowd scenes during this last season.
